Earlier this week ( Monday & Tuesday) we headed to Grand Junction, CO to meet up with my friends Matt and Kim from Ohio, and their daughters Ava and Lana. They were vacationing in Utah. Grand Junction was a good half way meeting point. It was great to see them again!
We spent some time exploring Colorado National Monument, some awesome views, pictures just don't capture the grandeur.
Of course everyone wants to capture some images, after all, we need something to blog about! This is me playing dueling cameras with Sherrie.

I've been keeping track of Sherri'es blog for a few months now but this is the first time I've seen yours. I'm impressed - great blog - great pics.
I would love to know what camera you are using for those distance shots of canyons?
My husband and I lived in Salida for awhile - 15 Poncha Blvd :-D. We miss it - never lived in "community" like that before nor since.
Lindy in AZ
PS - I agree - Sherri's linocuts are beautiful. I am going to order her two turtle linocuts.
Hi Lindy!
I'm loving it here in Colorado, especially in Salida. The "community" here is great, I've never been happier.
For the canyon shots, I just use a Canon S30 digital camera, nothing fancy. When the view is that spectacular it's hard to take a bad picture : )
